My name is Debbie and I'm a licensed 1st grade teacher at Brooks School Elementary. This summer my daughter and I have partnered up with Fishers Parks & Recreation to teach fun art classes for kids ages 6-12.
What's different about Art Mini-Camps?
As a teacher in HSE schools for the last 10 years, I hear all the time about parents who are in need of ideas to keep their kids busy during the summer. What's unique about our mini-camps is that while traditional summer camps run all day every day, our mini-camps run for 3 mornings. Rather than committing to a whole summer of camps, you get to pick and choose which mini-camps work for you and your family.
Our Art Mini-Camps run from 9:00 a.m. to noon at the Cumberland Park recreation building. So take a break, moms! Run your errands and grab some coffee while we entertain the kids with cool art projects.
We have four fun Mini-Camps to choose from... from Under the Sea to Outer Space. All experience levels are welcome!
Leading these classes alongside me will be my daughter. Julia is a junior studying elementary education and art. She's the creative genius behind all the art projects your kids will get to create with us.
