Olympic Art Mini-Camp: DAY 3

Our last day of Olympic Sports Art Camp!  These kids are so proud of the artwork they've created this week.

Today we learned what a silhouette is and how to create an Olympic silhouette with watercolor background.

We also learned about warm and cool colors and how to use them together to create backgrounds for our silhouettes.

Look at some of the completed Olympic silhouettes:

A wrestler...

Next, we created American flags using a tissue paper technique.

Our next Art Mini-Camp begins July 16-18th and it will be a Camping theme!  Julia has some super fun projects lined up for your kids to make while learning cool art techniques.

No experience necessary.  Suggested age range is 6-12 years old.  We only have 2 camps left this summer and space will be limited!

What are Art Mini-Camps?

See you a camp!
